American Guard Vante Hendrix (196-G-1998, agency: BIG) put on an amazing game in the last round for Mudhar, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 39 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Al Khewaildia (#8, 3-14) 101-87. Mudhar maintains the 7th position in Saudi Arabian SBL. Mudhar is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-11 record. In the team's last game Hendrix had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Mudhar's top player in his first season with the team. Former California State University Northridge star has very solid stats this year. Hendrix is in league's top in points (3rd best: 24.9ppg), rebounds (8th best: 11.3rpg), assists (4th best: 5.4apg) and averages impressive 64.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Mudhar's star - young Nigerian Jason Jitoboh (211-C-2001, agency: JCK Sports Group). Jitoboh had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 20 rebounds. Of course together with Hendrix he helped Mudhar with another comfortable win 101-87 over slightly lower-ranked Al Khewaildia (#8, 3-14) being unquestionably team leader. Mudhar's 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-11 record. Jitoboh is a newcomer at Mudhar, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.9ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 11.8rpg and 3.1apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was international center Mohammed Alsuwailem (211-C-1998) of league's top team Al-Ula. Alsuwailem scored 18 points and grabbed 18 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Al-Ula, leading his team to a 89-85 win against #4 ranked Al Nasr in a game of the week. Many experts and fans count Al-Ula as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 16 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Alsuwailem has a great season in Saudi Arabia. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.1rpg (5th best).
